Cal

Cal is a district in the inner Aegean region of Turkey associated with what is known as Western Anatolia.Western Anatolian rugs are seen have more of contrasting tone on tone coloring. This tends to be common with bright brick red and the lighter reddish colors. Clients are fond of this regions use of ivory, saffron yellow, and green accents. According to their structure and patterns there are several types of carpets called "star", "medallion" and "white-ground" Oushak carpets.
